Do You Hear The Divas Sing?
Heart & Dagger Productions is thrilled to bring back, by popular demand – DRAG MISERABLES this April. DRAG MISERABLES is a Gender-Bending, Sing-A-Long Extravaganza performed by some of Boston’s favorite fringe artists. Artistic Director Joey C. Pelletier and Musical Director James Sims brings Boston Audiences an abridged musical parody of Les Miserables based on the novel by Victor Hugo, music and lyrics by Claude-Michel Schonberg, Alain Boublil and Jean-Marc Natel. Les Miserables tells the tale of Jean Valjean, a French peasant, and his quest for redemption after serving nineteen years in jail for having stolen a load of bread. Along the way he meets many amusing characters who all die before the end of the tale. Performers will be singing in drag. Audience members will be given lyrics to sing all ensemble numbers. Sing the night away as the chain gang, factory workers, lovely ladies, and the barricade boys! One lucky audience member will get the chance to strut his or her stuff as Little Cosette for the number, Castle on a Cloud. Dinner and drinks not included BUT will be served beginning at 6pm and throughout the evening! Continue Reading →
